You have IT support. Do you have a clear view of the risks?

Technology can keep working while weaknesses go unnoticed. Access may not be reviewed, device coverage can be uneven, and recovery arrangements may not have been demonstrated. The challenge for a business owner is knowing which issues matter and what to do first. Our Health Check turns the available evidence into a clear management view and an achievable sequence of actions.

What's reviewed

  • Access: MFA, privileged accounts and joiner/leaver controls.
  • Microsoft 365: Email protection and key sharing settings.
  • Devices: Available evidence of management, updates, encryption and protection.
  • Recovery: Backup coverage, recovery arrangements and existing restore records.
  • Security practices: Awareness, reporting and response responsibilities.
  • Governance: Policies, suppliers and ownership of IT risks.
  • Technology health: Licensing, ageing systems and critical dependencies.

What you receive

An executive health scorecard, an evidence-based risk register, up to 10 priority actions and a 90-day improvement roadmap. A 60-minute findings meeting helps you understand the trade-offs, assign owners and decide what happens next. You receive the report as a PDF and the risk/action register in an editable format.

Who it suits

Australian businesses using Microsoft 365, typically with 10–100 staff, that want a practical review of their IT and security position. Particularly useful when the owner or operations leader needs clearer oversight while working with an external IT provider.

How it works

  1. Confirm the fit.

A 15-minute conversation confirms your goals, environment and whether the standard package suits your business.

  2. Review the evidence.

We agree access and scope, meet your business and IT contacts, and review the available settings, records and processes.

  3. Decide what comes next.

We deliver your findings and 90-day plan, then work through the priorities in a management meeting. You can implement the recommendations with your existing provider or request separate help from Spenta.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work with our existing IT provider?

Yes. We can use their reports and involve them in the review. The findings can be implemented by your provider.

Is this a full security audit or penetration test?

No. It is a scoped review of configuration, records and processes. It does not include penetration testing, active scanning or a formal compliance assessment.

Will you change our systems?

The review does not include configuration changes. Any implementation is separately agreed and authorised.

Does the five-day turnaround start when we book?

It starts when the agreed access, required information and engagement arrangements are ready. We confirm the dates before delivery starts. Delays in access or evidence may change the timeline.

Do you check every device and file?

No. We review central reports where available and agreed samples. The report explains what was checked and what could not be verified.

How do you access our environment?

We agree an access method with your IT contact, using a guided screen share or time-limited access with appropriate permissions. Temporary access is removed at closure.

What if you find an urgent issue?

We notify your nominated contact promptly and explain the recommended next step. Incident response and configuration changes require separate authorisation.

Is implementation included in the price?

No. The fee covers the review, report, editable register, roadmap and findings meeting. You choose who implements the actions.

What does the fixed fee cover?

One business entity and Microsoft 365 tenant, up to 100 active staff accounts, available device reports and a sample of up to 10 devices, up to three critical systems at a high level, and the agreed collaboration sample. More complex environments are quoted separately.
